Working hours
9:00-15:00 (1h lunch break) or 14:00-19:00 shift (5h/day, max 25h a week)
Business Admin internship requires 9:00-14:00, SW Engineer internship can be either shift.
Duration of internship
3 to 6 months (with the possibility to become a full-time employee)

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP
Trillium needs a administrative super hero ready to be the saviour needed - you’ll get real hands on experience from working in a start-up about to explode! You will be part of our awesome team handling all the things that make it possible for us to be up and running. We offer a fast paced and exciting climate with co-workers committed to improving the world. A really cool feature of this internship is the international experience in store, based from the Tokyo office you’ll be helping creating a truly global firm!
As a Business Administration intern you will:
• Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
• Sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
• Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and courier parcels
• Forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member
• Forward voice mail from the general mailbox to the appropriate staff member
• Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
• Code and file material according to the established procedures
• Update and ensure the accuracy of the organization's databases
• Back-up electronic files using proper procedures
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff
• Make travel, meeting and other arrangements for staff
• Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
As well as focus on financial activities including task such as:
• Use computer software to prepare invoices and financial statements
• Code and file financial material according to established records management procedures
• Process accounts payable ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information
• Process accounts receivable ensuring timeliness, accuracy of codes and appropriate backup
• Prepare accurate bank reconciliations and deposits
• Administer petty cash according to established procedures
• Assist with financial reports as required
• Month end duties as required

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Want to be at the very heart of the next generation of Smart cars and cyber security? Being a Embedded Software Engineers at Trillium is being part of a team dedicated to create the safe car of tomorrow. You will gain hands on experience from architecting, developing, implementing and developing the cybersecurity software of the future.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Development: Become an integral member of Trillium’s engineering team contributing to the development of cutting edge automotive cybersecurity technology
• Testing: Unit testing defects or change requests, penetration testing, software release testing, Peer reviews
• Authoring White Papers for submission to industry associations and standards bodies such as (ISO, SAE, IEEE, ESCAR, CiA http://www.can-cia.org, etc) and patents on behalf of Trillium
• Benchmarks: Generating performance or size metrics of Trillium’s technology and presenting those in a visually appealing format
• Documentation: Generating technical documentation for customers / partners regarding Trillium technology such as User Manuals, Developer Reference (API) Manuals, Technical presentations, etc.
• Interaction: Work closely with the Architecture and Test teams to ensure alignment and successful release delivery
• Demonstrating Trillium’s technology at customer / partner meetings or events
• Travel to meet and work with customers / partners
Ideal Candidates will have experience in the following areas:
• Embedded Software Engineering
• Cryptography / Cryptanalysis
• CAN, LIN, Ethernet and FlexRAY network topologies
• Automotive Software Stacks (CANOpen, AutoSar, etc)
• Protocol Analyzers (Intrepid Vehicle Spy, Vector, etc)
• Tcp/Ip client / server development, configuration and testing
• Software Development (preferably C / C++)
• Real Time Operating Systems (MQX, QNX, FreeRTOS, etc)
• Configuration Management Systems (SVN, CVS, Clearcase, etc)
• Application, API, and Device driver level understanding and source code partitioning
• IDE environments (e.g. CodeWarrior, mbed, etc.)
• Ethereum https://www.ethereum.org Blockchain / Solidity / Distributed Application development
• iOS, Qt application framework, Java, Javascript, app development
